About

I'm Chris but on many cycling websites I'm known by my handle, Vlaanderen90. I got into cycling in my teen years and while my physical capabilities are nothing to speak of, I dove head first into cycling culture and the history of the sport; devouring results and stories of riders then and now. I even asked to go to Belgium when I graduated high school so I could see the Ronde van Vlaanderen first hand.
I have a big passion for junior and U-23 cycling along with young riders on the World Tour and Pro Continental front. That isn't to say I'm not mad about nearly every aspect of cycling itself but this is my passion. With this blog (and possibly a legitimate website in the future), I want to showcase the young riders of cycling and make it easier for fans to make connections with riders. This also includes breaking down the vast calendar of races and highlighting the events where the stars of the future will come from. The main focus of the website will be the road but there might be some track, cyclocross and MTB thrown in there for fun. (My apologies to the fans of bike polo and Cycle Ball.)

I hope that you enjoy reading!
Thank you,
Chris.
